TestSource Welcomes Scientific Advisor

Frederick P. Morgeson (Ph.D., Purdue University) has been named Scientific Advisor for TestSource. In this role, Dr. Morgeson advises and consults with TestSource researchers and Clients, helping TestSource take advantage of the latest developments in the field.

In addition, Dr. Morgeson is a Professor of Management and Valade Research Scholar at the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He has published over 55 articles and book chapters in the areas of personnel selection, job analysis, work design, leadership, and teams. In addition, he has co-authored the leading job analysis book and presented over 85 papers at professional meetings. Dr. Morgeson has also been involved in a variety of consulting and applied research projects for a number of organizations in the areas of personnel selection, job analysis, work design, recruiting, leadership development, compensation, and organizational assessment.

Finally, Dr. Morgeson is Associate Editor of Personnel Psychology, is on the Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation, is on the Editorial Committee for the Annual Review of Psychology, is a member of the Academy of Management’s HR Division Executive Committee, has served on the editorial boards of Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and the Journal of Management, received the 2005 American Psychological Association Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology in Applied Psychology, and is a fellow of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
